1. Information we process
We process only the information needed to provide and improve the app:
- Account identifier: the app signs you in anonymously through Firebase Authentication and assigns a unique Firebase user ID. You can view and copy this ID in Settings.
- Photos and generated images: photos you choose are uploaded for background removal or replacement. AI providers process these images to produce your requested result.
- Generation records: we may store the user ID, generation status, selected tool, input and output URLs, timestamps, and app version in Google Cloud Firestore.
- App and device information: app version, operating system, and technical diagnostics may be processed when necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
- Support communications: if you contact us, we receive the email address, message, app version, rating, and user ID included in your email.
The app does not access your entire photo library. It receives only the photos you select through the system photo picker or otherwise choose to process.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- authenticate requests and associate generations with your user ID;
- upload, process, and return edited images;
- show generation history and maintain service reliability;
- prevent abuse, investigate errors, and secure the service;
- respond to feedback and support requests; and
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Service providers
We use third-party infrastructure to provide the app. Information may be processed by:
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud for anonymous authentication, database storage, server functions, and hosting;
- Amazon Web Services for temporary image uploads and storage; and
- FAL AI for AI image processing.
These providers process data according to their own privacy terms and our service configuration. Information may be processed in countries other than where you live.
4. Data retention and security
We retain generation records and uploaded or generated files only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Retention may vary by provider and record type.
We use authentication tokens, access controls, and limited-duration upload links to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Your choices and requests
You choose which photos to process. You can remove locally saved results from your device using device controls. To request access, correction, or deletion of server-side information, contact us and include the user ID shown in the app’s Settings screen.
Uninstalling the app may remove locally stored app data, but it does not automatically submit a deletion request for cloud records.
6. Children’s privacy
The service is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information through the app.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app or applicable law changes. The effective date at the top will be updated when a revised policy is published.
